Workforce Communication & Change

One thing just about any hr role entails is a need to communicate.  About all different kinds of subjects…to all different kinds of audiences.  To speak in the right “voice” using the right terminology so that the intended audience will “hear” the message. Tying appropriate messages through written, verbal, formal and informal communications channels is key.

Just as important as what you say is how and when you say it. So whether you’re reporting a major corporate announcement, launching a newsletter, creating a customized hr form or documenting and feeding back on performance improvement needs, we can help you develop and execute your internal communications strategy.

If you’ve been acquired or have made a corporate acquisition or you simply want/need to change an aspect or two of the culture that has evolved over time within your company, we can work with you to: 1) objectively assess the current state; 2) strategically determine where you want to go in the long- and short-term; and 3) ensure your management and hr practices, policies, operations and communications are appropriately aligned to get you there.

Culture change is never easy nor immediate.  It requires patience, persistence, a solid communications strategy and some nudging!  Properly aligned hr practices and communications can oftentimes provide the nudge you need to effect the change you desire.
